Last Saturday, the Dragon Burn community met up at Lacime for a night of music, games, and Burn videos! Despite the somewhat-difficult-to-find location, Lacime was a sweet spot for spreading the DB fun-loving attitude that we all adore. We had many instruments ranging from guitars to ukuleles. We had the awe-inspiring Game of Thrones theme (played on accordion). We had famous Chinese music. Many new faces (and old) gathered to meet and greet each other and enjoy the good vibes and tunes.
The turnout for this year’s Dragon Burn is shaping up to be the best yet, and it is looking like we are going to sell out of tickets much sooner than expected! Get your tickets here while they’re still available!
If you missed the Music Night then no worries (the notorious, unspoken DB principle :P). There are still some incredible gatherings coming up!
We have a general planning meeting in the Naked Hub on Wednesday. So if you want to get involved in planning the event, or want to bring your ideas and see how you can help, then join us here!
The applications for art projects are now closed, but that doesn’t mean you can no longer participate. We need people to help gather materials, build the projects, or just bring more ideas to the table. So come to the Artist Collective meeting on Thursday at Cambio Coffee if you want help!
On top of this, some of the DB crew will be at Beyond the Bund this Saturday presenting Dragon Burn’s progressive and inspiring community concepts.
And of course, don’t forget the much-much-much anticipated ROLLER DISCO at Yuncai Cafe this Saturday. If you’re coming to the Disco, bringing the funkiest, discoist costume you can imagine. Trust me, you won’t out-dress some of our notorious disco queens and kings. If you haven’t figured it out already, Roller Disco is “kind of a big deal” in the Dragon Burn world!
On top of this we have even more events in the future, including the Burner Monologues on April 28th and the Mansion Disco Party on the May 14th so watch this space!
