Rock N’ Rolla Disco

Stuck for something to do on Saturday April 13th? Just ask yourself “What would James Brown do?”, and find the answer at Cages! Rock n’ Rolla Disco is a fund (and funk) raiser event for James Brown and the Temple of Boom, DragonBurn’s premier party camp. These funky frontiersmen are bringing their signature blend of booty-shaking beats to the non-profit art and culture festival of DragonBurn for the third year in a row, and need your support to make it the friendliest throw-down yet!
Roller skates will be provided for rent, and the back bar of Cages makes an ideal space to bust some moves, whether you’re a seasoned derby devotees or an absolute beginner. For one night only, the space will be transformed from a humble sports bar into a disco wonderland – break it down beneath a glittering 1 metre diameter mirror ball and a gigantic sound system to boot!
Regarding tunage, in true Boomer fashion the rule is “anything goes but bongos”, so expect to spin your wheels to the sound of funk, soul, disco all night long. The Nasty Revue, Tallywhacker and even the Friendly Boys are back in town, as well as Fungal Jungle and new-comers Deluxe Suite. There will also be a Stanky Dance Competition that you dorm want to miss!
Tickets are 100 RMB Pre-sale, which will also guarantee you a free drink – to make things even friendlier, those resourceful folk who bring their own reusable cup can avail of 25 rmb beers all night, from 8pm til late! Or you can simply re-use the glass they give you at the bar. Add skate rental in the mix for only 30 RMB extra. Lace up and get loose, see you all on the floor!

我们会在CAGES准备好轮滑鞋提供租赁，场地空间够大，不管你是初学者还是轮滑老手，都可以一展你的风采。仅在当晚，这个运动风酒吧将会转变成为一个迪斯科游乐场，闪亮的迪斯科灯光和最高级的音质将带你整晚摇不停。各种乐队也将轮番上阵，更有刺激的斗舞比拼！
预售门票100元，当然会包含一杯酒水，那些环保人士自带杯子的将会享受啤酒25元整晚的福利，轮滑鞋租赁仅30元即可享受整晚的摇摆乐趣！
